Simon Falk is a Canadian artist who lives and works in Toronto, Ontario. His practice spans augmented reality, GIF, 3D imaging, computer-generated animation, drawing and painting. He has been sharing his work through online platforms such as Tumblr and Instagram since 2007 - experimenting with the fusion of technology and traditional art forms. Themes of transformation, the fluidity of identity, and the interplay between the virtual and the real continue to shape work.
His work has been presented internationally in group exhibitions and film festivals including The Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery, The Wrong - New Digital Art Biennale, CutOut Fest and Superchief Gallery. Falk holds a BFA from OCAD University.
